Started in 2015, the band has quickly got fame and has made a dedicated fan base of its own. The two founders Achyuth and Ashwin met a strange meeting and soon they formed a band of their own. With the duo making some astonishing music, When Chai Met Toast is a blend of Indian roots and Western Influences. Achyuth says the band name represents the mixture oi two cultures, chai (Indian) and toast (western). The members of the band are deeply and wholely inspired by the western Instrumentalists and bands, they have the Indian mixture in their songs. When Chai Met Toast has been gathering a dedicated fan base which can be witnessed in their live performance at NH7 Weekender in Shillonng.
