Sonu Kakkar hails from Rishikesh, and is a playback singer in Bollywood. Sonu Kakkar is the elder sister of Neha Kakkar, who is one of the finest modern singers. Sonu Kakkar started singing jagrans at the age of five when her parents moved to Delhi.
Sonu Kakkar moved to Mumbai and that is when Sandeep Chowta heard her singing in a singing competition on channel V called Indian Pop Star and gave her a break with the song ‘Babuji zara dheere chalo’. Sonu Kakkar has sang the famous song “London Thumakda” from the movie ‘Queen’.Her recent Songs releases are Mera Dil Bhi kitna Pagal Hai, Electro Folk:Chamba, Kalank etc.
