Seema Mishra

She was born on 3rd November 1976 in the state of Rajasthan Bissau district Jhunjunu. She is a versatile singer who is famous for singing Rajasthani songs. In 1993, she sang for making audio cassettes of bhajans. She has done recording for companies like Veena, T-series, Venus, Classic and Mayur for famous albums like Ghumar, Chand Chado Gignar, Kuve par Ekli, Balam Chhoto So, Chude Chamka and Kurja are names of some of her albums. Her songs reflect the Rajasthani folk culture and tradition. Seema Mishra has won awards i.e Jhunjhunu Nagar Kala Manch- Rajasthan Kokila 2002, Journalism association of Dainik Udyog 2002, Sur Sangam(master Madan Mohan national sugam 1993, Sangeet Competition- DG civil defense -Rajasthan-Prashati Patra+Gold Medal-2000, Ghumar Platinum Disc Award(by Anshuman Singh – the Governor of Rajasthan in the year 2002, Bharat Vyas Award -Calkata, Shri Roop Ramka Lokgeet Puraskar Award 2005 (by Shri Shiv Raj Patil (home minister of India)
