About Amit Kumar
Amit Kumar is son of the Indian legendary playback singer, actor, Composer, lyricist, writer, director, producer and screen writer late Kishore Kumar. Following his father’s footstep, Amit Kumar also developed taste for singing and acting in his early childhood and also used to sing in Durga Puja pandals then. Amit Kumar became singer in 1974 with the song “apne bas ki baat nahin” for the film Badthi ka naam daadi. Later he famed as a playback singer, actor, producer and director in the Indian Film Industry for the past many years now. So far he has given voice for more than 209 songs and acted in more than 6 films.
