Arif Lohar is a highly acclaimed Pakistani folk singer and Instrumentalist known for his powerful and soulful voice Arif Lohar hails from a family with a rich musical heritage, as his father, Alam Lohar, was a legendary folk singer. He began his musical training at a young age under the guidance of his father. He learned to play various traditional musical instruments such as the chimta (tongs), sarangi, and flute. He became proficient in the Punjabi folk music genre, particularly the unique style of singing known as “Lok Virsa.”
