Overview

Haricharan is an Indian Carnatic vocalist, playback singer, and Instrumentalist who has proved his musical talent in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Telugu languages. Haricharan was born on 20 March 1987 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He started learning Carnatic music from various famous Instrumentalists such as Smt. Sethu Mahadevan, K. V. Narayanaswamy, T. M. Prabhavathi, P. S. Narayanaswamy etc. Hariharan started his career by recording his first Tamil film song for the film Kaadhal and later recorded three songs in his debut movie. He had recorded for a number of films in Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and Malayalam languages. Hariharan won a number of awards which include Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer, IIFA Utsavam Awards, Asianet Film Awards etc.
